Douglas E. Lawson

Doug Lawson has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. The opportunity to work for a several institutions has given Doug valuable expertise in the areas of financial operations and management along with corporate structure and oversight.  Doug’s most recent assignment was that of Market President of Heritage Bank.

His professional expertise, coupled with his education and background in the financial industry are vital elements for his successful ability to spearhead a highly profitable, team-oriented, customer service organization like The Kingdom Trust Company.

Doug and his wife, Stacey, have two daughters, their family is active in several community organizations, school athletics, and within their church.  Doug has recently received his fourth appointment from the Governor of Kentucky to the Ky. Agricultural Finance Corporations Board of Directors out of the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy. Doug also, continues to serve as the Treasurer for the Murray State University College of Agriculture Alumni Association. 

Scott Foster

Scott Foster has been providing alternative asset sales and business development solutions for the Self-Directed Industry for the last 3 years with Millennium Trust in Chicago.  His career has been steeped in Institution investing that centered in core growth and development of companies.  Mr. Foster will be utilizing his skills to further the business development of Kingdom Trust Company.   His time with such companies as Global Fund Advisors, Susquehanna International Group, Credit Suisse, ABN-AMRO, and Shearson Lehman will be solid networks in which to provide custodial services.

Scott and his wife Sue Ann have two daughters and a son who are all active in athletics and performing arts.  Scott is an avid tennis player and proud to be a University of Kentucky Alumni as he serves on the College Arts and Science Advisory Board.

Charles (Bo) Ives

Charles (Bo) Ives is the Chief Operating Officer for The Kingdom Trust Company. Bo has 13 years of hands-on experience in the self-directed retirement industry.

Bo served as Assistant Vice-President of Sterling Trust Company in Waco, TX. As the Assistant Vice-President of the IRA group, he worked to help clients conduct efficient transactions in all their dealings with the company. Bo led a professional service team of 45 to provide clients with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Bo and his wife, Holly, have three sons. The family currently attends First Baptist Church. Bo is active in the lives of his children, coaching various football, basketball, or soccer teams.

Tim Kuhman
Sr. Vice-President/General Counsel/Trust Officer

Tim Kuhman started his professional career as a management consultant in the health care industry while he was in law school at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Once he graduated with his Juris Doctors Degree, he established his own firm and practiced in Toledo before moving on to a legal services organization, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE). He left ABLE to join Wright and Associates, LPA.

When the principal of Wright and Associates, along with several clients, created a Real Estate Development Company, they tapped Tim as General Counsel for that company, as well as their sister company, a mortgage brokerage.

Tim’s other experience includes building and managing legal information products for multi-national publisher Reed Elsevier, and building a knowledge management system for Jones Day, one of the world’s largest law firms.

Most recently, Tim served as General Counsel to Equity Trust Company, the largest self-directed retirement account custodian in the country.

Tim has four sons; one in high school, two attending the University of Kansas, and one at the University of Memphis.

Matthew C. Jennings

Matt’s background is as a Real Estate Developer and Entrepreneur.  His businesses have enjoyed great success in real estate development, construction and in the buying and selling of capital real estate investments. Matt’s sales and marketing background and aggressive business philosophy contribute to his successful career as a real estate entrepreneur.   

Matt and his wife, Kelly, have two children. Matt is active in the community, serving on the Murray Calloway Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, member of the Murray Calloway County Board of Realtors, and past member of the Murray City Code Enforcement Board.
